About Nashville General Hospital Foundation

In 1977, Nashville General Hospital at Meharry founded the Friends in General charity to raise funds for baby blankets and support patient care services. In July 2016, this charity evolved into the Nashville General Hospital Foundation to align more closely with the hospital’s overarching mission. This transformation underscores our commitment to providing patient-centered care, supporting future caregivers, and integrating scientific advancements into clinical practice.
