Nashville General Hospital Foundation serves as the 501(c)(3) tax exempt, charitable fundraising arm for Nashville General Hospital at Meharry (NGHM). As a non-profit volunteer organization, its mission is to provide resources to support various programs for the Nashville General Hospital Community. NGHM is a publicly supported, academically affiliated community-based hospital committed to providing excellent healthcare regardless of age, race, creed, gender, sexual preference or ability to pay.

Nashville General Hospital Foundation will not engage in discrimination or harassment against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, unfavorable discharge from the military or status as a protected veteran and will comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination, equal opportunity and affirmative action laws, orders and regulations.
